biological experiment was taken in late june 1996, and was a part of my alienation period.
this picture is representative of my feelings about the futility of trying to continue against a pre dystopic future.
in as much as i felt this at the time the picture was created, i came to further realise that it showed other alternatives, that there was light in the dark, and perhaps was not as fatalistic as i previously thought.
my other reading of this image was that from chaos, came the hope of a new utopia, a new place where the darkness of the frail human soul could not exist.
