My name is Christopher Reilley, I am currently a Digital Illustrator, Webmaster, and Art Director for a multinational communications cabling connector manufacturer, MOD-TAP by name, although I do some independant external work as well. I am a graduate of the School of the Worcester Art Museum, am an avid collector of comic books, famous quotations and pictoral collages, a player of role-playing games; particularly those in the Gothic horror genre, and I'm madly in love with a beautiful girl named Lei, whom I married in August of '96. Lei is a native of China, and has taught me a great deal about how different two people can be! There is no one in this world that I would rather have at my side. She is, quite literally, my sunshine. We purchased our first home in the quiet town of Ayer, Massachusetts, one we hope to have paid off in less than four more years! We are currently purchasing another home, this one in the town of Holbrook, 15 miles south of Boston, in order to be closer to the city, as well as living in a truly remarkable Colonial house. This house has everything, a greenhouse and garden shed, a large garage with heated studio, plenty of yard space for our baby Veronica to run around in, and plenty of room for me to create in. I'm also involved with the creation of a coffee table book, a novella created by a shared writing group from one of my favoriter newsgroups. I am providing illustrations and general design for the project, a few images for which are available on my samples page, and I also create ceramics for the Worcester House of Favors, a family business. I am a voracious reader, devouring books as fast as I aquire them. Movies are a great pleasure as well, and I am intensely curious about special effects and movie magic, dissecting every scene in an attempt to spot the cgi. ;) I have pursued a number of other minor interests over the years, including attending clown college, performing in a number of regional and community theatrical productions, producing and hosting a magazine format show for cable television. |
