Inland Empire Chapter #63 of Romance Writers of America.®

We are a non-profit organization associated with the Romance Writers of America.®
IECRWA is located in the heart of eastern Washington state, in the city of Spokane.

Our purpose is:

  • to promote creative excellence in romantic and women's fiction.
  • to foster professional growth and support for our writers.
  • to provide an atmosphere of fellowship and networking with other romance writers.

Our schedule includes various speakers and program offerings to assist writers as they learn and grow in their craft. We are especially proud of our "Picture This" contest. Please take a few minutes to browse our website, sign our guest book, or better yet . . . come join us in person! We meet monthly at various locations in and around Spokane.

Exciting News!:

  • Patrice Lewis continues her selling spree with novels to Wild Rose Press.
  • Jamie Leigh Hansen's Betrayed is scheduled for a 2008 release from TOR.
  • Bonnie Hamre's Unspoken Promises is scheduled for a late July release from Cerridwen Press.

    Our Second Annual Writer's Retreat is May 4-6, 2007, held again at the Western Pleasure Guest Ranch. Mark your calendars!
