Artful Salamander Formed: May 1997 Contact: Stuart Taylor Artful Salamander was formed by Stuart Taylor in May 1997 following the dissolution of Revolution Comics. Designed initially to be the publishing label for Taylor's next Octobriana project -- Filling In The Blanks -- Artful Salamander has since become the banner name for all creative projects undertaken by Stuart Taylor (including 'I Fell In Love With A Russian Devil-Woman' for Romantic Tails 1, Octobriana: Underground Tales, Artful Online and Octobriana Online). Octobriana: Underground Tales was Artful Salamander's most recent published project, which coincided with an Octobriana lecture/quizshow -- hosted by Artful Salamander's Stuart Taylor -- at the COMICS 99 festival during April 1999. Stuart Taylor and Dave Roberts of Artful Salamander are have currently begun production on a six-part comic strip series for a major worldwide video game publisher. This project is being created under a strict veil of secrecy, although Artful Salamander is hopeful that it can make a formal announcement of the project sometime during May (following the E3 video game tradeshow).
