Trip was relatively uneventful. By chance the first hotel with vacancies that we found each night accepted Penelope. The first night we ate at a Denny's in Mt. Jackson that used walkie-talkies and announced the specials of the day when handing you the menu. Stopped in Bucksnort, Tennessee briefly. Got a t-shirt, and found out about the type of person that would drive around with a spam message plastered on the side of their pickup truck, {lose 28 pounds in 14 days, ask me how}, and got some odd Frito-Lay snack mix. Ran into a wall in Arkansas. Got to the apt. Sun. afternoon. Got my key stuck and then broken off in the front door. After a bit of cord-swapping in the closet, Internet access was up and running.

Counting the four hours I spent in the airport this afternoon to go nowhere, I
just realized that I've spent at least a week of my life in airports. *sigh*
Oh, oh ... And carrying a bunch of quarters in a bottle in your suitcase is a
sure way to get your bag hand-searched.

Yes, yes, I was happy with my snow, even at the cost of beating my own record
of time spent in an airport - that's up to three straight days now.
Heh. The MAC terminal had free internet access - Beat that, BWI. ;)
