Crayon Drawing of Kenny the Koala Bear

This is a wax crayon drawing of a stuffed animal favorite of mine, Kenny the Koala Bear. I acquired him in 1981 at The Eastern States Exposition, also known as The Big "E", a huge New England Fair held annually in West Springfield, Massachusetts.

I think what attracted me to him most was not only the fact that he was cute and somewhat realistic (as far as stuffed animals go), but also because he is a puppet! When I first saw him at the fair, from a distance, he actually looked like a little bear in someone's arms.

He cost me all of US$10.

This is a recent (1997) drawing of Kenny. As you can see, he has held up well over the years!
