Read About Me

My name is Love Cat, or Linda as some people like to call me.

I have some news for you all!
I just got engaged to the most wonderful guy in the world!
His name is Scott. He is a 6 foot 3 strapping fella and the nicest person you could meet. He is a gourmet chef, poet and music lover to name a few things. I am quite blessed friends! Quite blessed.
Now my little bio

I lived in the Los Angeles area most of my life.
I have traveled extensively and had the delight and honor to be exposed to many cultures throughout my life, traveling with my family throughout Europe, the States and Asia.
For this I give great thanks.
We are enriched and taught the secrets of life by our contact with others.
This is my belief.
I loved my home in Los Angeles, to which I always returned after my journeys.
It was my anchor.
Circumstances have given me the opportunity to live in another home now, close to where my wonderful family are located in Orange County, Ca., just south of Los Angeles.
I believe that sometimes change brings unexpected gifts!
When I moved to Orange County I had no friends here and now two years later I am engaged to the best guy in the world, my Scott. Lucky me!
I will always make Love Cat Central a wonderful forum for expression, offering selections of my writing and some wonderful pieces that are the creations of my friends.
I also proudly present some visual delights in my four galleries!
Some of these images have been generously given to me by friends whose names have been credited.
These pages, like our lives, will be changing often.
Please enjoy your visit and come back again!

Some background on me:
I graduated from UCLA in 1981 with a degree in English Literature.
I have a small graphics business and I spend a lot of time with my writing.
Some of my passions are my family, friends, the animals, my writing, my design work, golf, music, education and rehabilitation for the homeless and protection for the needy in general.

Let us celebrate and respect the uniqueness of all people and cultures which will bring us to a higher understanding.

A Few years ago I contracted the Hepatitis C virus.
Although it has proved to be a challenge in my life I believe that with love and hope in my life I will be well and achieve my goals as I am doing today!

Thank you to all of you who have placed your gracious comments on my guestbook.
They mean a lot to me!

The Midi file that you are listening to is "A Box Of Rain", by my beloved band The Greatful Dead, a song from one of their early albums "American Beauty".
Let their memory live forever.

Tend your garden and may God bless you and keep you safe!

Your friend, Love Cat
