The Lost Battles

Once upon a time in Japan, the Godzilla marketing juggernaut had ground to a halt. The multibillion dollar dud known as Godzilla '98 was seven years away. Movie makers began to attempt new types of films, ones including human characters and their problems. The giant lizard's reign of terror had finally ended. Or had it?

Fortunately our story does not end there. Godzilla would rise again. A young Japanese filmaker named Jose Bubiki Svensson rediscovered the great Godzilla movies of the mid 50's. Suddenly, he had an idea: instead of having Godzilla fight other monsters, why not have the King of Monsters take on popular actors or singers? Get him more involved in the human aspect of the world. Make people care about Godzilla. Thus, he began to work on his new masterpiece: Godzilla vs Prince Charles.

The movie was a colossal failure. Fortunately, Jose was far too stupid to quit. He made other movies, all of them failures, costing his studio millions of dollars they could have used on violent cartoons about naked big eyed people fighting robots.
