'During
Desert Storm, five women were killed by hostile action and two were taken
prisoner by Iraqi forces. Major Rhonda Cornum, who was captured after her
helicopter was shot down over Iraq, was "violated manually, vaginally and
rectally" by her captors. Must more women pay this price for the feminists'
notion of "opportunity"? Is this an American ideal?'

Elliot was on the road again. They had been refitted at Mos Andrew.

one night's sleep in a bed. It was hard to believe it had only been one
month.
It was clearing. The storm had passed and cleansed the earth. At least
until Elliot had driven out of the garage to pollute it. He rcecognised
this lettuce field. It would be hard not to with all the charred trucks
and APCs.
What?
Halt. You are to abandon your operation. We
have a ceasefire.
