Suggested Reading

Novel: "Before Women Had Wings" -- By Connie May Fowler.
One of Oprah's Book Choices, also made into a TV movie. The book is an extraordinary work of fiction rendering the lives of two young sisters who are abused at the hands of father and mother -- yet seem to have a great strength and endurance. I highly recommend this book - for those who want to know about abuse, and for those who are also struggling with living in an abusive environment or for abusers themselves who might find a way out of their own torment and be inspired to seek help.
