Born in '75 in Trieste, Italy, I'm currently living in Dublin, Ireland, where I moved after being offered a job by Compaq almost five years ago. A year and half ago, sick and tired of my job there, I started looking for a new occupation (and considered the idea of moving back to Italy), eventually landing a position in the hardware operations department of Google, where I'm currently happily emplyed and delighted with my job.
Before moving to Ireland I've been playing the guitar in a couple of rock bands in Italy (more about them in the section "Marginalia and other stories"); since I moved I've been briefly involved in an amateur recording project with a friend, who's since left the country, and mostly playing just for my own pleasure, and occasionally taking part in a session at my local pub (the "Old Punchbowl" in Booterstown, at the time of writing the session normally takes place on Tuesday night, starting at around 9.30pm, everybody's welcome, musicians and/or listeners). But sooner or later I might get involved in a new project, who knows...
As I said, I currently live in Dublin, but I still regularly visit my parent's place back in the Vicenza province in Italy, and now and then I return to the site of my unfinished university studies, Padua, and to my beloved Venice. Not to mention the work trips that are taking me all over Europe and the States (well, almost). So if you are planning to meet me, make sure we'll be in the same place at the same time ;-).
