All About Me

I'm a 19 year old Australian Cypriot who lives in Brisbane, Queensland. I used to be a model but I have decided to give it up and enter the real world. If you love your food too much don't bother entering this business- having Cypriot blood, food is a great priority in my life. I live with my 19 year old boyfriend Brett, who I am travelling around the world with. I like to study people, I tend to sit and watch everybody.I believe accepting our disfunctional lifestyle patterns is the key to eternal happiness. For the past three years, I've been a bit of a gypsy..... I've been to parts of Asia, North America and Europe as part of my job but I'm going home to start a new chapter. I've recently started to make beaded jewellery, which I mainly do for fun but I'm going to try to sell my designs at festivals and such anyway. Umm. Plans for the future: A photography course, try and get into university and study psychology. Oh yeah. I like cats too :)At one point in my life I had 15 of them. My sister Leah has 5. She also got me interested in beads.

Disfunctional Lifestyle Patterns

Let's face it, we're all disfunctional. Have FUN with your weaknesses.

Beaded Jewellery

I love beading. There's lots of cool stuff you can do. The colours are great to work with - I use size 10 Czech seed beads, my main colours are greens and blues. A great book to get about beading is "Indian Bead-Weaving Patterns" by Horace R. Goodhue. I swear by it - it has a huge variety of stiches and ideas. The links I've listed are a great help also. Patterns and pictures are coming soon.

Cats

Ever since I can remember, I've had a puddytat (or ten...). I feel a magical connection towards them.. I speak to them. (No, I'm not a looneytune). I lived in Cyprus when I was twelve years old, and that island is crawling with my little furry friends, so I 'spose that's where my obsession started. (I sometimes tend to be a little obsessive-compulsive). You too can talk to puddytats. All you have to do is stare into their eyes and grab their attention. If they like you, they will speak, but you must understand their language. I think you need to have been a cat in your past lives to fully understand them. If you've ever been owned by a cat you'll know what I mean.

Travel Related Things

What can I say - I'm a gypsy. Ever since I was fifteen I've been travelling around the world. I think it's a great way to learn about life. It's very important for everyone to travel and see different cultures. Unfortunately, I have always travelled alone and haven't been able to share my experiences with anyone. This year though my boyfriend Brett came with. You can see our Odyssey here, there's heaps of cool info so go see.
