Let's see... Lochie, Cameron, Andrew... I just know there's another one in there somewhere.
For those of you who are wondering what the hell I'm talking about here is a brief explanation:
Some families just seem to get everybody in the family involved in movies or televvision. Notice the Sheens: Martin, Charlie, Emilio Estevez and the other one; the Baldwins: Alec, Billy and Stephen. Well, here in Australia we have a similar phenomenom, the Daddos!!!!!!
This showbiz family just seems to permeate our broadcast entertainment channels. Andrew regularly hosts those insipid "World's dumbest ......." shows. Cameron has now acheived 'fame' with his appearance in "FX The Series" where he attempts to live up to the role of 'Rolly Tyler' so wonderfully brought to the big screen by our own Bryan Brown in the movie, "FX". Meanwhile the only 'official' credit held by the youngest brother, Lochie, is "Neighbors", a popular soap opera that exibits what is probably one of the worst examples of Australian television. Despite this he still manages to occasionally pop up here and there on our small screens.
Where's it going to stop? They just seem to be reproducing at an astounding rate. Sometimes I can't help but think that the Daddos and the Baldwin brothers are the same people merely flitting back and forth across the Pacific annoying audiences on both continents. OK, maybe alec was pretty good in "The Hunt for Red October"...
I think that's it's only going to get worse before it gets better.
That's enough? Get away from the horror as quickly as possible. Remember though, you can run but you can't hide from them, they're everywhere! Just try...
