Okay, so maybe it's not exactly fine print, but it'll do.
This is an extraordinarily experimental site for me. As such it will change more or less constantly, especially throughout this "summer of madness". I've chosen to make it experimental so that I could excuse the fact that I've never dealt with a programming language in my life, let alone one anything that can drive complex internet communications vehicles. I'm pretty proud of how it's turning out.
Why am I here? As a student of education, I realize the importance of linking the classroom to the 'net -- not only for the casual viewer, but for the "mover and shaker" who wants to make him/herself known on this most vital and personal of media. Thus, I'm here to teach myself the vagaries of browsers, editors, languages, site-mounting, and the myriad manifold details of building a thriving website. By summer's end, I plan to have it up, running, and frequently visited. My URL goes on my resume.
Okay, that was the teacher's schpiel, and it's the truth! Now, what can I offer you as online treat? Well, I'm not a programmer, so I don't have impressive feats of computer acrobatics, and I'm not a visual artist, so there's not a whole lot of visual stimulation I can offer (apart from what I'm able to cull from sites less graphically challenged than me)...so what the heck, huh? Welp, I'm a performer. A voice artist, actually, and a real stage presence!--but you can't see any of that, so there's really little I can do to impress you, the Webbers of the World, with performance skills you can't access.
Therefore, I'm hopefully giving the impression of online Performance Art. Don't be alarmed! I frown on pretentiousness, too! These characters I've allowed to roam here (as well as any guest-appearances by friends) give me the freedom to explore alternate aspects both of my own creativity and that of the medium. It is for this reason, too, that I have chosen to number myself among the "Bohemians" (besides, I always liked a good Bohemian neighborhood! the coffee is the *best*!)
I encourage you to stop by as often as you like, and please, drop me a line in email. I welcome your comments, especially the constructive ones! But I might just have some fun with the flames, too (you never know...muahahahaaa...) (that was Fluffy..sorry). In the meantime, enjoy!! There's humor aplenty, and mistakes? Even more so!
Hey, thanks for stopping by. As usual, these pages' copyrights
