Artist Victoria Peterson Laird illustrates in pastel, watercolor, ink, pencil and colored pencil.
Her illustrations and cover designs have been published in several books including:
America's Favorites, Naturally, by Victoria P. Cavalier;
Kids and Cars, by Ellyce Field and Susan Shlom;
My Book for Kids With Cansur (sic) by Jason Gaes;
The Healthiest Dining in America by Dee Ashley;
Making It Right by Dennis A. Challeen;
and nine books by Dr. Nancy Frakes including A Rainbow of Seatwork Activities.
Her work has also been published in over two dozen magazines and periodicals.
Victoria Peterson Laird has worked as a professional artist since 1972. Her finished works of art hang in homes and galleries all over the United States as well as in Canada and Japan. She has won many awards for her work, and has taught art at William Penn University in Iowa since 1991. Her current area of emphasis is wildlife in their natural habitat.
