was hit with shock when I found out unknowingly that my favorite author- David Sedaris- had come out with a new book to celebrate this Holiday Season.
It has been a long time since I've actually bought any books and enjoyed them. But with the holiday vacation just round the corner I couldn't wait to get my hands on his new book titled "Holidays On Ice." (click on book to read some excerpts)
 It was like a trek toward the Lost City of Atlantis! Every where I went, each bookstore was not able to find it even though they had the book listed under their files. Even Barnes n' Noble! How prestigious can you be when you haven't got a book written by probably the most funniest writer in the whole world. And please let's hope they didn't take into account that he was gay, because he IS the most funniest gay writer on this planet! But nevertheless I searched on and low and behold just the other day came across it. I leaped with joy and had to be ressesitated by my friend who happens to think I've gone through the looney bin. What joy and esctacy! Let me tell you it was all worth the waiting and the search. And yes I was a bit disappointed in how small it was (shooot!) but ah well, it's not quantity but quality. Right? |
