AMORALISM

Amoralism is the belief that there is nothing we "should" do, no way we "should" be, no goals we "should" pursue. We are not obligated by any fact of reality to do or to be or to pursue anything.

This is in contrast with IMMORALISM, which specifies being and pursuing the "Bad", doing what one "Should not" be doing.

Amoralism recognizes no moral nor immoral actions as such.

Contrast with Peter Saint Andre's definition of "immoralism".

I was not always an amoralist. Up until about 2 years ago, I was in fact an Objectivist Moralist, who believed one could base ethics in epistemology and metaphysics.

See this link to an essay explaining Objectivist Moralism by objectivist thinker, Joel Katz.

I'll put a link here later for my explanation of my particular amoralism.
