JOHN MERRICK HOUSE

1973 to Present

Toothpicks and Wood Glue, about 25" tall

This unfinished thing is a "house" made of toothpicks glued together.
It's about 2 and a half feet tall.
There are hinged doors inside it that privatize many of the rooms.
I call it "The John Merrick House," named in honor to John Merrick
(also known as the "Elephant Man"), who is said to have built a model of a cathedral .
