THE EVIDENCE OF THE SENSES
A REALIST THEORY OF PERCEPTION
David Kelley
Most intellectuals will tell us we cannot perceive reality as it is because our
consciousness has an inherent bias. Read this book and find out why this
adage is wrong.

INTRODUCTION TO OBJECTIVIST EPISTEMOLOGY
EXPANDED SECOND EDITION
Ayn
Rand, Leonard
Peikoff, Harry Binswanger
If you can get passed Rand's pompous tone and opportunistic moralizing, this book
offers a plausible realist account of the nature of concepts. Some claim her theory
is not original. So what. It works. And it does so without the contradictory hash
found in relativist and intrinsicist theories.
Except for the moral entanglement, I agree with this theory. And Peikoff's essay
against the Analytic/Synthetic Dichotomy kicks butt.

THE MYTH OF NATURAL RIGHTS
L. A. Rollins
In just 42 pages, this book goes a long way toward refuting moralism without
relying on self-contradictory relativism.
I happen to agree with about 90% of this text.
The flaw here is Rollins' implication that natural rights do not exist because
they have no physical effectivity. Lack of physical effectivity is not a sufficient
argument against something's existence. However, the rest of the debunking is
pretty hard hitting.

THE 4TH
THE INTRODUCTORY ISSUE
Luke Turner
I explain 4 archetypes applied to how philosophical beliefs relate to shame.
The 4th archetype, for which the zine is named, is the absolutist de-shamer:
one who believes in absolutes, yet who does not use such beliefs to shame others
into compliance. The zine promotes this archetype.

THE 4TH
THE CAPITALISM ISSUE
Luke Turner
Written back when I was a moralist, this issue is an essay in which
I attempt to defend capitalism on moral grounds by untangling it from
various forms of oppression.
But I also add a section in which I defend capitalism
on the grounds of benevolence.
