I want to see humanity achieve paradise...
And I want to live there among happy people as one of them, reveling in pleasures we can only now barely grasp, pleasures that would make us cringe in the knowledge that we can't have them now. No bullshit. No fakeness. No compromises. I'm sick of this life so many of us experience as incessant boredom, frustration and alienation punctuated with cheap distractions and fleeting hopes soon bashed.
And I believe we can achieve paradise. I'm a desperate optimist, a lover of humanity, a boldly desirous being with a vast imagination balanced with a sharp mind able to focus on reality and to reason well towards tangible plans.

Metaphysics/Epistemology: Metaphysical Realism, or Objectivism. (Reality is not a dream or a social construct, but exists independently of consciousness.)
Mind/Body Issue: Neutral Monism. (Both physicality and "mindstuff" may be forms in which consciousness grasps various existents.)
Meta-Ethics: Meta-Ethical Agnosticism. (I don't know whether or not ethical concepts are valid. But to me, they appear to be false projections of desire into "intrinsicist" forms. If so, then "owned" desires replace ethics altogether.)
Personal "Pseudo-Ethics": Benevolent Amoralism. (My personal desires emphasize concern for others. And conversely, my benevolence rests on no justification other than my personal desires.)
Drawing abstract art with felt pens (like this picture at the left) (See also my Art Gallery for more of the stuff);
Tinkering with my car's innards and putting a kick'n sound system in it (when I graduate and get a job, that is);
Driving fast;
Eating sandwiches;
Collecting things (just about anything) from "free boxes" and dumpsters;
Buying obscure music and recording mix tapes that make people ask who the hell this or that band is;
Riding my nerd bike around campus for no apparent reason;
Going to "Riot Grrl" (feminist oriented) punk rock shows;
Rummaging in junk yards.
Yes, I am drug free. Don't like the taste of beer or coffee.
BUT... I am considering trying to get drunk more often using booze that tastes like candy.
