Scottish Dancing Lessons and Practice
at the British School-Muscat
Every Sunday evening, a number of us get together in the nation's capital to learn a few steps, and practice the ones we already know—for some, in preparation for an upcoming Ceilidh or ball, and for others just for the exercise and a few laughs with friends.
Dancing lessons/practice sessions take place on Sundays from 8-9:30, at the British School-Muscat. The various dances (e.g., Strip the Willow, Shifting Bobbins) are taught by Marilyn Ferguson and Carole Binbrek, with others helping out from time to time.
As you can see from the following photos, all ages are certainly welcome in come-as-you-are dress—go to the Ceilidh page at this website to see how decked out some of the attendees can be!
