Contact Proof Last Update: Apr 25, 2001

Printing is not an easy job, especially for a whole series of pictures. Although I try to show all my best prints in here, it is just quite impossible for me to have the time to make it happen.

In fact, no one really makes prints for every single negative. Screening is always done on the contact proof before any print job. Here, I will show you some of my contact proof which contains the pictures that I haven't printed out. I guess I'll print them out soon, before that, you can check them in the contact proof; as what I did in the studio. Enjoy.

May be you will agree that looking at the contact proof is the best way to judge the skill of a photographer. E-Mail.

1. Night Before Halloween'

I like the kind of snap shot in family. They are very nice to look at, but they may not be goos enough to print. Other than all the snap shot, you can also see all the Seagull series pictures in the ROC section.

2. Taipei 2

As I mention in the Taipei Series, the Ilford Delta mess up in the push process. When I looked at the beautiful contact proof, I have no way to know about the disaster…

3. My Grandpa

I think this is the best series I made in year 2000. This is about the shop of my grandpa. I love him a lot, and I guess this is why the pictures look so good. I actually made a few prints and used them in the Gallery Show of Photo Society. This series is coming soon~!
