That was a wonderful day.
Bathing in the breeze, I started my last assignment in this summer – Junko Mitsuhashi.
Working with Junko is an amazing experience. It seems like all the idea comes out from my mind naturally. All the pictures are done at the moment I holding up my camera and pressing down the shutter. The pictures were there, I’m just the one who make them real. The result is incredible, and now the whole series becomes my new standard of portrait photography.
From the pictures, I hope you can feel what I feel, the transparence breeze of summer.
It’s the summer
, "Natsuda".P.S.
It may sounds unfair, but I think Japanese models generally perform better than my previous models. First of all, they try their best to match my idea, even though some of my idea may be really crazy. Second, they have more character; so they are charming and attractive to me from the first sight. Probably, this is the reason why my works just go smoother than ever in the Hiroko series and Junko series.
[Well, actually, you know what… As a photographer, I really appreciate that they cared about my feeling. At least they care if I’m tire or hungry, which I rarely found from other models… This is really nice, especially you have all the heavy gears on your back for a whole day…]
