Because I do have feelings I hide,

Those are the ones I shield and don't show.

Because although I may be strong,

It could hurt me.

Be careful of how you protect me.

It may be too much protection,

Or maybe not enough.

Be careful of what you teach me.

I may think it's something good,

But to you and others,

It's probably something bad.

Be careful of what you show me.

For I may be too young to see it,

And don't force me to look.

Be careful of what you do around me.
