*M/maya* is one of my most complicated characters. Rather than being story line based, like Starshine, she has been built mostly on chats, so has had a lot of strange, unusual, unpredictable things happen to her. Like Starshine, she was born in the Theatre des Vampires. She started as a wolf in the chat, however she already had a long story before that. *Maya* was born in the wild, and grew up a quiet, sweet girl, until she met the mage Alexis Machine, who stole her mortality, and put her soul in the body of a wolf. In this form, she wandered to the Kingdom of Darkness. Starshine found this scared little beast, and took her in, then introduced her to another Mage, named Vane, who gave back her human form, but only for while the sun hung in the sky. *Maya* was content with this, and stayed with Starshine and her young family, as a protector, companion, and babysitter :) While there, she met a Lupine named Grimm, and fell in love. Later, in an effort to protect Starshine, her family and friends from an attack, *Maya* was stabbed repeatedly, and was thought dead. However, a practicing witch named Deirdre brought *Maya* back, however, her canine side was repressed. Thinking that she had lost Grimm forever, she left the Kingdom of Darkness, and started a search, for him, or for something to have as her own. She is intensly jealous of Starshine’s family, and secretly longs for one of her own. In her travels, *Maya* met a powerful vampire named XÜL KHÅRÜ, who she submitted to, and became one of his servants. As much of her life had been spent in servitude, she had not thought this would be different, however the kind of servant her Master required, was terribly different from what she had been before. While wearing his collar, He took from her, her mortality, and made her a vampire like himself. She fought it, and never forgave him for it, and when He removed her collar temporarly, she was secretly glad. After Xul, *maya* took the collar of Rhune, the Vizier of the Hall of Shadows, but was never happy with Him, never having any love for Him. He gave her many wonderful things, such as making her a trainer, but she was miserable, and when He released her, she was overjoyed, and quickly left that land. *maya* enjoyed travel to Amazon Nation, Castle MacLaaran and Kyeoris, but then settled down with her love, King Endymion Masque, and from that love grew the Kingdom of Guardia. Guardia Castle is where *maya* can most often be found, though she often travels back and forth to the Kingdom of Darkness as well. Within Guardia, the King proposed, making *maya* His queen. Still, *maya* knows that she does not wish to be a noblewoman, so she is an uncollared slave queen. Slave to her King, queen to Guardia. (please note, these are adults only rooms) More recently, *maya* left the King, and Guardia, to return to the Kingdom of Darkness. (I was frustrated with Guardia, and didnt have the time to devote to it anymore.) She is once more living with Starshine in the Lair. Name: *Maya* ( or *maya*) Age: 21 mortal years + about 15-25 years of immortality Hair: Long curls the colour of a raven's wing Fur: (wolf form) Silvery grey Eyes: Crystalline blue Stature: Slight, petite in both forms Skin: Slight tan, due to her ethnic heritage, but still very pale for her kind. State: Vampire, Shape shifter to Wolf Clan: Torquemada, affiliation to Gangrel Abilities: Shapeshifter, able to change from human form to canine, and stances in between. Full Daywalker, being able to withstand sunlight in either form, though prefers to shield her eyes from it. Resistance to fire, in the form that she can be exposed longer than any mortal, and most immortals as well. very limited Telekinetic powers, and advanced Telepathy Social=4 Psychic=2 Mental=1 Physical=3 Family: Xul Kharu- Sire Does not know the rest of her clan, due to a severing between her Sire and herself.
