This started out as a nice, positive song which wasn't so in your face with God's Word. The message was there but it was not obvious. This disturbed us every time we worked on the song. So Lynn and I reworked the entire song to clearly convey the message that God is always listening to our hearts. Our bopes and dreams do come true as they line up with God's Word, because God is faithful to do what He says He'll do. l love the play on words in the cborus, "God'sWords are where God keeps His promises." Since God really is always listening to us, we should expend some energy taking to Him.
