Life is a funny thing. Just when you think you have it all figured out something changes and everything crumbles to the floor. I like to think of life as a test – no, a pop quiz. You are not prepared for it and it can creep up on you unexpectedly and ruin your weekend plans.
When you’re younger you don’t think much about it. Life is school, playing and family. As you become a teenager it’s playing, playing, playing and a little bit of school and family. After that though, I don’t know. I’m past the teenage stage but not quite an adult yet. Right there in the middle having to make a choice in what college to go to and after that, what to study. At 18 I am planning the rest of my life. That doesn’t seem fair. I don’t think I’m prepared to make those decisions. Did I miss a class on this? Who wrote the directions to this quiz?
