Albertane Tour; Detroit, MI; July 28th 1998; Palace of Auburn Hills

After waiting in line at a Harmony House for about 5 hours, they did the ticket drawing thing anyways, which was a drag, but my ticket got drawn so we got 2nd row seats. The night before the show we all stayed at Elisa's house and made our signs and stuff. One sign said "My dog bit me" and another read "Play on playa" (Don't ask... we have a weird sense of humor) Anyhoodly, he next day we got there early and saw Zac run out to the tour bus, stay on it for like 45 minutes, and then rum back off. That's the first time I had ever experienced "Zac mode" and it was quite frightening. * :) * I'll explain some other time... so we got into the venue after what seemed like forever, and went down to our seats... I'm getting chills right now just thinking about how close we were... IT WAS AMAZING! Admiral Twin was great, the guy with the fro (forgive me I don't know all their names) was staring at me the whole time, probabaly because we had an AT sign. I love them and I wanted to let them know that I appreiciate them. Jarred waved to me also. That was exciting. Then after waiting a half hour after AT, the over head music stopped and there was a weird echo as the lights went out in the venue. And as Scott Hogan's bass started up the widely known song "Gimme Some Lovin'" I nearly sh*t my pants. And when the curtain dropped... I almost did again... THEY WERE SO CLOSE! I remember looking up at Taylor, and he was looking at me so I jumped and covered my face because I fet stupid, then I looked back at him and he smiled and continued on. Numerous times my friend told me Zac was looking at my sign asking for his drumsticks, then one time I caught him and he smiled and nodded. We caught Taylor and Zac laughing at our "my dog bit me" sign, and when tey came out for the acoustic set Zac shined his flash light on it. Then during "Soldier" I looked up at Zac and he was looking right at me, and we stared for like, 7 seconds straight. No, seriously count that out, it's a long time! He might have been spaced out or something, but he was looking at me! Then he looked away to sing his little line, then looked back. This time I blew him a kiss and he made a kiss back!! I so freaked out, ask Elisa who was standing next to me... then Zac and Taylor got a kick out of Christal who was spazzing out about Isaac the whole time, ripping out the chairs of front row, shaking her chest, and so-on. *lol* During "MmmBop" Elisa and I decided to throw random things out of her back pack on stage. She threw a phone card and it hit Taylor on the forehead. *lol* Isaac asked Christal if she wanted his pick, and threw it to her but some girls mom elbowed her in the face and took it. Taylor jumped into the audience and as soon as we were about to shake hands, I fell flat on my face. And he saw me too! Boy do I feel cool... then when Zac went back to get the sticks, I fell again, and because he was by our side of the stage, everyone crowded around me and I couldn't get up. So, I didn't get them. After the show we went by the tour busses, and Hanson came out. I was standing on the back of a security truck and Hanson was like, 4 feet in front of me! Ike had a mega-phone thanking everyone for showing up to the show. Isaac had everthing that we gave them before the show in his arms. I started shouting Zac's name untill he finally looked at me. I was like "you didn't give me your drumsticks!" and he shrugged his shoulders and apologized. Then before they left he pointed at me and made a face like, 'yeah I'm smooth'... I can't really explain it but it was cool.
