Ohio university MBA |
August 29, 2002
Dear Sir or Madam: ,
I am writing in order to express my deep interest in job openings your company. I am very excited about this position because I believe my skills and determination will add much to your company.
September will mark the culmination of my MBA in Management Information Systems (MIS)/Marketing and another Master in Asian History. During the dual Masters program, I have gained much experience, having worked on major projects for such companies as Lubrizol, the Wendy’s LPGA Golf Tour, Fifth Third Bank and Wuhan Iron & Steel Corporation (China), and on information systems projects.
There are a few beneficial skills that I would like to highlight at this point. The first, and possibly most important would be my language skills. Though I am a Native Korean, I can speak Korean, English and Chinese fluently and have done great deal of translation in different areas including business and technology. Having lived many years in Singapore and Taiwan as well as Korea and US, I am very multi-cultured.
In addition, as an MBA majoring in MIS, I am familiar with most of Internet-related technologies and business aspect of it. I believe that these experiences will be able to match the requirements for the position well.
I also have 2 years of experience in working for the US 8th Army as an 8th Personnel Command Personnel Service clerk. I am the type of person you want to add to your organization. I am sincerely interested in discussing many opportunities with the company. I have attached my resume with this E-mail. I can be contacted for an interview by E-mail or at home at (740) 589-2595 or (740) 593-4320.
I look forward to hearing from you soon, and hope that you are enjoying the summer months
Sincerely,
Janghyo Koo
