A bit empty here for the moment. most of my moddeling is low poly realtime models.
SNOWSPEEDER



The Snowspeeder was built with a very low poly
count. About 900 polygons.It was created with
3d studio max2 and the textures were painted in
Photoshop5. I used "The Starwars Cronicles" and
"The art of the empire strikes back" for referance.On the side

you can see the texture map.
X-WING
The x-wing is also a realtime model with a poly count on 900.
I used the same references as with the Snowspeeder
I also had a mpc Model kit wich i also used. good fun!

HEAD
The head model is actually a portrait of myself.
This is only a preview. I started with modelling it with few
polygons. what you see abowe is the test head consisting of
1000 polygons(without ears). I have been doing some progress
on this one lately. the head now got ears and neck. you can see the
texture test that i did on the left. It will be done totally
different now.

Here is a later version.
ears have been added,
neck and more general
details. Still some small things to do like tweaking the ears.
The model now consists of 7000 polys.

Yeah! At last things are coming into place. The smoothing is improved and new texture has been created. It looks a bit scary without hair and eyes, but that's the next step.
Here the eyes have been done, but still no hair. I need to experiment a lot with that before i start.
I also applied a
shininess-map and a bump-map.It was much work to tweak those.
Next will be tweaking the shapes of the face and fore-head. The texture- map is still not quite finished either. Teeth are also comming up soon.
