    Kids WB! Series On Video
It seems Warner Bros. animation has gone supernova. Batman Beyond: The Movie- a new video based on the Kids' WB! animated series -has been offered in conjunction with Warner Home Video's year-long Century Collection promotion, which will be part of a special group called "Totally Batman." The promotion releases animated hits Batman: Mask of Phantasm, Batman and Mr. Freeze: Subzero, The Batman/Superman Movie and Superman: The Last Son of Krypton at their lowest prices ever. To further enhance the value, several premiums and discount offers will be included with the videos.

    Batman Beyond's Creative Team
Written by Darren J. Vincenzo, father of Jennifer, two-week-old Bat-fan
Hilary J. Bader is a name all of you have seen if you've seen The New Batman/Superman Adventures. In addition to being a staff writer on the shows, she's written for all three recent Star Trek TV series (Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager) as well as Lois and Clark. It was her work on Lois and Clark that brought her to the attention of Alan Burnett and led her to being hired to work on the Superman animated series, which led to the Batman series and later the Batman Beyond series. Her work on all the animated series impressed a great many people and led to our offering her comic-book work including last year's Batman Adventures: The Lost Years miniseries. She was a natural choice when it came to putting together the team for the mini you hold in your hands. A native Brooklynite, Hilary now resides in sunny California.

Rick Burchett is a name that's more than a little familiar to readers of the various BATMAN and SUPERMAN ADVENTURES titles. After such DC work as BLACKHAWK and THE BLACK HOOD, he began inking Ty Templeton and Mike Parobeck on the earliest Batman comics based on the hit animated series. Rick has been the one steadfast creator on all the incarnations of the monthly book, inking or penciling (even doing work on both BATMAN AND ROBIN ADVENTURES and SUPERMAN ADVENTURES simultaneously) with equal skill. Rick, in fact, is at least partially responsible for the BATMAN BEYOND miniseries you now hold. When he heard about the new animated series and saw the initial character designs, he called me up and said he'd love to work on the new characters. So I immediately put a plan into action to do a BATMAN BEYOND comic-book miniseries, borrowing the art team from GOTHAM ADVENTURES for at least some issues. Rick lives and works in Webster Groves, Missouri.

Terry Beatty is also a name that's not new to BATMAN ADVENTURES readers. Besides BATMAN: GOTHAM ADVENTURES, Terry inked  BATMAN AND SUPERMAN ADVENTURES: WORLD'S FINEST and BATMAN AND ROBIN ADVENTURES ANNUAL #2 over Joe Staton. Terry is the artist and co-creator (with Max Allan Collins) of MS. TREE, comics' longest-running private-eye series. First appearing in 1981 from Eclipse Comics, it has been published most recently by DC Comics. Terry lives in Muscatine, Iowa with his wife Wendi Lee, a mystery & western author, and his beautiful daughter Beth.

Lee Loughridge, our colorist, resides in Savannah, Georgia. He got his start in comics on GREEN ARROW for DC. Like Rick and Terry, Lee works on the monthly GOTHAM ADVENTURES, setting new standards of quality for the comics world.

Tim Harkins is one of the few letterers in the industry who's perfect for the animated style of comics. He was the first letterer way back on the first BATMAN ADVENTURES series and has done the majority of the issues since then. In addition to lettering, Tim pencilled BATMAN AND ROBIN ADVENTURES #8 and has worked on DC's CARTOON NETWORK comics and the Rugrats newspaper strip. He lives in rural Pennsylvania.
