By Christopher Priest, Paco Diaz, and Jon Holdredge

The Cover: HAHAH! That’s funny. Sort of. The babes being censored is sorta cool, but who the hell is that guy behind The Pool Man? Honestly?

The Story: Whoo-Boy this is weird. Deadpool is in space, and he winds up in a ship that’s full of space-mercs who want him to free there leader Dirty Wolff (a complete knock-off of Lobo). So he battles through a space prison and finds the guy (who’s so dumb its bad). He frees him, he blows the plan. It’s confusing I hate this.

The Writing: I love the Pool-Man, but I don’t like The Christopher Priest Pool-Man. He’s not that funny, the characters aren’t that great, and I hate the whole Loki’s Curse thing, and the plot is very confusing. Good thing that Priest is gone soon (2 more issues).

The Art: Not as bad as the Writing, but still not that great. The art has way too many lines than it needed. Plus he can’t draw Tom Cruise.

Overall: Only buy this if you have to own every single Deadpool book (like me!). This is not classic Deadpool, this is confusing Deadpool.

Rating: 3 out of 10, only because I love Deadpool soooo much. Come on Jimmy P.

Similar Tastes: If you like this you should like other confusing heroes like, um I can’t think of any now, but there is some.

By Glenn Herdling, Jim Calafiore, and Mark Mckenna

The Cover: Pretty funny, Deadpool killing the bugs ties into the story. The G.I Joe theme to the logo is pretty cool too.

The Story: Pretty Simple, Deadpool is telling a story in the not so distant past. It involves him hunting a sound-manipulating villain called Humbug. Humbug deafens the pool man, and he has to use his detective skills (what?) to hunt down the guy. He finds him, defeats him, and gets his hearing back thanks to The Constrictor. Then back to the old dull story. Nice little interlude.

The Writing: Who is Glenn Herdling? I want to know, because this is the best Deadpool story since Kelly left. If Jimmy P. doesn’t write one cool story in the coming arc, Glenn is my pick for the job. He wrote a great story, without any words!

The Art: I like Jim Calafiore’s art. He’s the upcoming regular artist. So get used to it, okay guys? One thing though, is he incapable of drawing a curved line?

Overall: Pretty Decent read! I enjoyed it a lot more than the regular arc. If you like a good old fashioned funny read, then pick it up.

    Rating: 8 out of 10

    Similar Tastes: Old school Spiderman.

Special Note: I nominate this for quote of the year: "Oddly enough this reminds me of another adventure… yes… I can see it now… almost like an Untold Tale of Spider-Man… … except I’m not Spider-Man…"
