Well it's that time again. Time to see what Lara Croft is up to this time around. When we last left off, I was telling you about Lara in the lost world about to get eaten by a hungry T-rex. Well Lara finally clued in that her gun ain't gonna get the job done against that overgrown lizard, but when it goes after her lovely roomate...it's personal! No one leers at her like that and gets away with it. She shoots the rex in the eye and it's little pea sized brain and the rex is out for the count... permanently. Now they have to find Chase. Lara and Vanessa clue in that they are in some kind of time dimension that allows them to be with the dinosaurs. (Can everyone say... Star Trek!) Anyhoo, they find Chase, and I know the guy is a dummy, but his mind is being affected. So he says stuff like "Such is the way of things" and "I exsist but to serve." Who talks like that?! It turns out to be a woman who is as old as Merlin possessing "the Merlin Stone" that is doing all the dirty deeds. So Lara opens a can of whoop-ass and beats up Chase and some cave dudes and destroys the stone. They all jump through the hoop of time and everything is okay. Until next time that is...

We start Lara off with a brand new adventure. Lara starts off in a cop shop shooting gallery with Chase. Chase talks to her about their past and how he would like to be with again Lara again. Lara was hurt by him early on and she just needs time to trust him again. (Good for you!) So now is the part where the adventure really picks up speed and grabs you till your blue. Lara is on her 1050 foot yacht sleeping and we see a shadow in her room. Then a woman comes aboard looking for a housekeeper / butler job that just recently became available. Har! Har! (#3 in the series if you haven't read it yet) The woman comes into her room only to find a dead body of a man there. Lara, just waking up, has as many questions as the woman has for her. Lara soon learns who the man belongs to. The midnight squires. They totally want to rule the world. A strange green orb is on her bed. Just then a group of Matrix wanna-be's bust in and try to kill anything that moves. Lara kills them instead. Lara and the woman, named Ms. Hovan, escape on a sea-doo and Ms. Hovan suprises Lara by eliminating the rest of the threat on board her yacht. Woo! Hoo! (But I don't know about that Ms. Hovan. Did she show up just before all this happened...?) Oh well, we will see later.
