Helpful Hints And Official Policies For Comic Book Sites United
1) Participation
We encourage all members of CBSU to have a high level of participation in the forum. We are a very active group that likes to hang out and visit each other's sites. Feel free to invite other comic book fans into the group. Ultimately your level of participation, however small or large, depends on you.
2) Non-HTML Members
Comic book fans without a web site are welcome to join CBSU. Just send the CBSU administrator your name and location and we will include you. You will be added to the membership list and you be granted full access to all the other member services.
3) Site Checks
To earn and maintain your CBSU membership you must display the forum button on your site. Failure to display the button will result in a warning letter. If you still do not have a forum button on your site your membership will be terminated. You can make a custom graphic that matches your site for CBSU if you wish. Just make sure it links to the same place. Send any custom graphics you create to the CBSU administrator and they will be added to the button exchange page.
4) Unsolicited Email
Sending unsolicited junk mail to other members' email accounts will not be tolerated. Your site will be suspended if you do so. This means that your link will be removed from the member list and your status will be changed from [Active] to [Suspended] until you comply. If you continue to send spam to members your membership will be terminated permanently. The Forum is the place where you can spam members without being suspended. To report a spammer click here
5) Opinions
The sites affliated with Comic Book Sites United, and their webmasters, do not necessarily endorse all the opinions expressed in the forum. CSBU members are only responsible for their own opinions in the board.
6) Tolerance
Swear words in the forum will be tolerated. If it's your style go ahead and swear but try to go easy on it! Racist remarks and flame wars between members will result in suspension of your membership. If you continue the behavior your membership will be permanently deleted. Then you will be listed on the "Hall Of Shame"
7) Leave The Group
To terminate your membership email the CBSU administrator Please include your reason for leaving and you will be removed promptly.
8) Feedback
If you have any suggestions on how to improve Comic Book Sites United email the CBSU administrator and I will at least try to implement these suggestions.
