Welcome to my home base on the web.
There are several reasons why I have this site:
Overflow
I have a blogger-powered journal/weblog called
OverFlow
(the first Overflow journal is still around, but dormant).
I like to think I could make a Cody-powered weblog if I wanted to,
but Blogger makes it so easy.
I have a hard enough time getting motivated to update as it is without
having to hand-code the html. I've updated to Blogger Pro, so no banner ad at least.
Futureweb
A few of us connected with the Futures Studies department at the University of Houston at Clear Lake are in the process of revamping our cobweb of a website. Stay tuned for a discussion board and a much nicer and more relevant site.
Meanwhile, the weblog called Futurescan is up and running.
Signs and Wonders
My Master's project at UHCL was a weblog/environemntal scanning journal called
Signs and Wonders
at the World Network of Religious Futurists' web site. I left it dormant
as of last summer, but I recently picked it back up again,
mainly because people keep trickling in and registering for the site.
But I'm doing it at my own pace.
Waitt Foundation Portal
I'm working on a portal for the future of community development for the Waitt Family Foundation. Not quite ready yet, but it will be here soon. But if you want to peek at the pre-release beta version, here it is.
Vanity
Okay, I admit it. To have a page like this on the web means that you have
at least some delusion that people want to know something about you.
You imagine that what you have to say might be important and enlightening to
somebody somewhere.
So, I have a bio page and this self-indulgent page of lists. And, in case you want to lure me away from
my great job with lucrative offers of employment, here's my resume. I'll add a virtual interview later.
And when I get around to it. I'll post some of my writing, poetry and art as well.
