...Ah we have made it to three months now, and the infant supreme ruler, and i have found ways to coexist in his kingdom. we fill our days with breasts, burping, and blankets. he has this adorable coping mechanism. he uses his blankets to scratch his face AND play at the same time!! he's a freaking genius!!!! the nurse says that the scratching is probably allergies, and i'll have to play detective to find out what the allergy is. other than the scratching, he seems to be fine. he has started teething, so i've got that to look forward to. there is drool over everything.he is pushing his little legs out and delights homself in being able to stand for 3 seconds at a time. he is just a wonderful addition to our lives. He pulls this "i'm so adorable" look just when i'm at my wits end. he can give me disapproving looks at times ( or so i imagine), and the realization that you are shaping a person's life and you can scar them for life without even knowing is a hard pill to swallow. those beautiful eyes take in everything. OKAY, so i am a bit dramatic, but this kid is something else. he has it all together, and his mommy is the basket case. he's got me!!! i am puddy in his tiny little perfect hands.
