San Francisco, California - July 10, 2002
Last night was my last day in San Francisco for awhile. The last few weeks have had quite a few changes. First one was my parents came out to stay in San Francisco for four days. They loved San Francisco, and we had a pretty good time. At the end of their trip they took my car back to Michigan along with my computer and the majority of my belongings.
The last 10 days in San Francisco I found myself staying in a hostel in North Beach. At the same time I was finishing up work at my old workplace. My particular hostel room had 8 beds in it, and proved to be pretty boring and difficult place to spend much time. More often I ended up walking around everywhere throughout San Francisco just trying to keep myself busy until I went to bed.
Anyhow, it looks like I have now just arrived back in Seoul once more. Its kind of a different feeling, too familiar, and feels like I'm just going to be doing all of the same things that I use to do in the past. Its a good thing, and a routine I know well. Two weeks in Seoul, and then teaching in JinJu begins.
