I'm still homeless and unemployed. I did get one day of work holding a sign up.. they call it "Professional Sign Holder". It didn't pay much and it was only for six hours. Unfortunately I probably spent more money in that day than I made. So that means all of the other days that I'm not working at all is just going directly to the credit cards as well.
The Super Bowl is coming up soon.. lots of excitement in the air about that.. I wish I could get into the festivities myself.. but.. I have everything I own in the trunk and backseat of my car.. so I'm leery of parking it in the madness of downtown this SuperBowl weekend.. and not only that.. but I have no money for parking or anything else. So I'm just being low-key.. waiting for work.. and hanging out at the beaches all day.. what else can I do? Nothing.. Either I sit at the beach or I sit in my car all day. I've been to about 5-6 temporary employment agencies, so I hope one of them calls me back with some good news soon. I've also been exploring other options like going back to New York City (try to get my old old job back) or signing another contract in South Korea once again. So there are a few options.
Ah well.. down and out in Southern California.. I guess it could be alot worse.. things could always be worse. Right now I'm still doing okay though.. just gotta find a place to live.. and I gotta find any kind of work possible.. its been almost two months without working for me.. not since I left San Francisco.. two months of adding additional *stuff* to my credit cards.. and not having any kind of work.. well, if I'm going to be homeless and unemployed.. San Diego is definetely the city to do that in!! I'll try to continue to make the best of it.. but its really really stressful imagining how long its going to be to pay off these accumulating credit card debts..
