Tarragona, Espaņa- July 2, 2004
Wow, Tarragona, very nice city!! Very glad to be out of Castellon.. but now that I'm leaving and I'm in this city.. I must say I quite like it here as well! There is a big "Rambla" they call it.. just like Barcelona here. Its kind of like a very large plaza with shops and tourists and people all over the place walking around. Really nice. I saw some more Asian restaurants here and all the rest as well. I wish I was studying here. This town is also loaded with medieval architecture and ruins and everything else. All this here, yet it is so unfamiliar to me compared to many European cities that are famous for just such things.
Well, I'm enjoying the start of this trip. This is just the beginning, and I have a lot more to write about. Finally finished with the first semester of my masters program, and it feels great to have a break. I just have to do a course paper and a term paper to completely clear my mind and move on to the next thing. Tarragona is beautiful though, and what a great ending to the first semester.
