Dublin, Ireland - July 5, 2004
Another day in Ireland. Today, Alan and I explored downtown Dublin. Its more or less like any urban area anywhere in the world. I quite liked it a lot, but not amazing amazing by any means. Went and had a Guiness in one of the pubs, but it was a tourist Irish pub, and strangely more or less could have been anywhere in the world. But had a good time nontheless, so no complaints about that. Just a note but Dublin has a great downtown, but really spread out city.. didn't expect that from a European city.. but I guess all cities are probably more or less having to do something with the extra population.. and spreading out is common enough.
Well, tomorrow is Galway.. going to get up early and hop on a train to see the other Irish coast.
