three sixty contemporary arts
twenty, oh one
three sixty are proud to announce the 'twenty, oh one' project is sponsored and supported by:
sell out pictures
after months in the wilderness as an idea based on a prominent point in time (20:01, 20.01, 2001), three sixty concluded that the best way to celebrate the first minute of the twentieth hour, on the first day of the second month, of the two thousand and first year of the christian calander, was to dedicate it to the vision of arthur c. clarke, as realised by stanley kubrick in his epic film '2001: a space odyssey' with 20 one minute films.

from there on in the process was easy; advertising locally and nationally for film and animation work that referred to the film, and choosing the best twenty submissions of one minute works to feature.
originally planned as a one night event, the project will now be shown at the following venues......
dundee contemporary arts cinema as part of 'gagarin celebration', 12 april 2001, 2pm - 6pm.
the tramway, glasgow. 12noon - 8pm on thursday 19 april, friday 20 april and saturday 21 april 2001.
three sixty contemporary arts are also grateful for the support of; cameo cinema, edinburgh; the department of tv and imaging, duncan of jordanstone college of art, and delta video.
