promise: the fulfilment of potential. by deliberately parodying certain elements of 2001 - fashion, technology, and key visual themes, we ask - where is the world we were promised by the media and scientists of our youth? as the fantastic dreams of the future have been assimilated into adult reality, can anything shed new light on the human condition? (even our movie?).
