My bike was stolen last night. This sucks so hard...
today, sept 29, i was accepted into the Northwest Film and Video Festival in Portland Oregon.
This made me feel a bit better.
My life is surreal I  go to Film Festival Gala Parties and feast upon open shell mussels, smoked salmon  and red wine one night and  for the next week i  eat at a drop in center.

This is my kona as i last saw her. We were at the Vancouver Center Cinemas 650 Georgia Street. Actually she was parked on Granville at the rack outside the theater. At 10 o'clock i went in to see a movie.

I found her! I was on the bus riding past pigeon park and there she was. I got off the bus. A gut was seeling her for 80 bucks. Rediculous. I walked away and got on a buss thinking to go to the nearest police statin then realized there wasn't enough time for that. I went back to pigeon park. There was a woman sitting on my bike.
I said," That is my bike could you get off her please. I am taking her. Here is the police report."
She replied," it's not my bike I'm just watching it for someone."
I am amazed. It worked. I have my bike back. I was pretty scared. Yesterday i bought a new helmet and a sturdy lock. The last lock was a kryptoite cable lock. This one is thicker.
So, my kona and i we ride again...
