The pendulum form is made of two kinds of clay:  "B-mix"
(the whitish clay) and "Cassius Basaltic" (the dark clay).
I wanted to use whole slabs to get the patchwork effect
instead of merely coloring the surface with contrasting
slip.  These two clays aren't known for their strength in
sculpting or in firing, so I'm pleased it survived both
processes with nary a crack.  I'm not always so lucky.

The wheels of the cart are made of colored cast concrete.
