This piece has been through a lot of permutations.
Originally the handle was to have been much
larger, and I had a truly awful painting going with
this and too many other details.  When I got it out
this fall, I was shocked at its hideousness.  I got out
the scissors and used it as a collage material in three other
paintings.  This painting came together when
I found this stool at the flea market.  The handle part
has been in my studio for about 4 years.
