A powerhouse
in the boardroom, a towering monolith in business, when it comes to love,
the classic Capricorn man is an insensitive moron. And not always a moron
who is the most well-meaning.
Tyrannical control
being the battery behind his vocabulary, he tends to run his relationships
like a criminal courtroom. At a very early age, the Capricorn man overidentified
with authority-type figures, and since then has assigned himself the power
to proclaim.
On a very base
level, the Capricorn male doesn't understand the premise of relating -
that it takes two people. But that doesn't bother him because all
he needs to know is what he wants and then it's merely a matter of time.
He is logical,
methodical and ruthlessly pragmatic. He is also highly ambitious and careful
to nurture each and every goal. Life is his ball game and it just so happens
that he is the pitcher, the buy at bat, the outfield and the umpire. And
with all that's going on inside the big circle, it's easy to see that it
can become a very hectic place.
Love for the
Capricorn man is like a Howard Johnson's motel after fourteen hours on
the road selling vacuum cleaners. It provides relief and a certain measure
of comfort. But, after all that, it's back to business and figuring out
how best to market electric brooms.
So many serious
goals and long hours can easily interfere with the needs of a stable relationship.
However, the Capricorn man also has his personal needs and a big one is
a sound supportive family base. So sooner or later, he'll find the time
to find a wife.
Capricorn men
win, they don't make namby-pamby compromises. Likewise, they don't expect
to be challenged on their authoritative status. Nor do they have the inclination
to negotiate. Nor do they have the patience to put up with some woman who
demands give and take. Capricorn's patience is for what is "serious" and
"important." And while women are wonderful necessities they should be
women! and maintaining their proper place!
The Capricorn
man upholds the sort of social convention that was characteristic of 1957.
So, when it comes to love and power, he has the power and he'll love the
woman who promotes that.
There is truly
nothing conciliatory to be said about this classic Capricorn nature. Is
the moon green, does the night light up the day, will the Capricorn man
ever change?
Why should he?
He is a born dominator in search of the respectful submissive. He always
succeeds in finding her and his setup always succeeds in working for him.
As long as women abound who don't mind serving in the unarmed forces of
their husband's ego, the Capricorn's system will continue its tradition
and his love of power will over power his love.
