Hey there! I'm Marg, hey - how are ya? Welcome to my website. There are many mansions in my brain and many rooms in each mansion. Most of them are still under construction. Even if they were finished, I would find away to change them.... What was it Thomas Jefferson said about putting up and tearing down? Well, that's what this website is all about.
For those of you who wondered where the accent came from or indeed where I come from, have a look at my Virginia page.
Because I have a tendency to go off in a million directions at once, and the travel photos are the most up to date, have a look at what I did on my summer vacations, my trip to New Orleans., my trip to London., or my trip to Roma. Another new section just added - the travel archives.
And most recently, there was the trip to the capital cities of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire.
And last but not least, my trip to the capital.
For those of you who've been wondering what I've been up to with my painting, have a look at my gallery.
For those of you who've been wondering what my good friend and co-worker Tam has been up to with her painting, have a look at her gallery.
You will be happy to note that I have updated the list of books I've read to include those I've enjoyed the most as well as those which have influenced me the most. Please feel free to make comments or suggestions...
New feature - what I'm reading this week! That is, besides the Nancy Drew books and the loads of magazines that wind their way into my possession.
Lately, there has been a lot of grumbling going on amongst some of my smaller, furrier friends who wonder why they don't get a website and why I have to waste my time clicking on that box and why why why haven't they been fed yet. So as a special request, there has been a new section added for cats I have known and loved.
The very latest page I've added to my web is a tidbit about my doll collection. I've been collecting dolls for most of my life thanks to a very supportive family. I inherited a number of dolls from my grandmother Dorothea, who dressed quite a number of them herself. My interest has strengthened in recent years in order to combat the boredom of having to stay inside during those looooong, cold Canadian winters.
And as a nod to the feller who taught me how to do this - have a look at Michael and Maria's Maritime Adventures.
Slainte!
