The Deepest Sea was a song written after watching a program on TV about ocean kayaking.
The images on the screen unlocked some emotional things welling up inside.

I remember Paris was written upon return to America from the City of Light and Love. Joe recalled some of his thoughts he had while in Paris, but they were thoughts of home and of a time in his youth when he was quite smitten. So one thought triggered another, in another time, and in another place. To top it off,it was written on July 4th,America's Independance day.

A Voice Seldom Heard is a simple ode to a feeling you never know will come along again.It is sung here by a since departed friend of mine.Stacey Wellons gave everything to a performance.In this unedited rehearsal you can witness his freewheeling style.He enjoyed pushing the air out of his lungs and filling the room with the joys of expression.
