In Europe, names for floors are a bit different. The first floor is
called the ground floor, the second story is called the first floor, the third story is called the second
floor and so on. Our main office is on the second floor, but in Holland they call it and write "1e" for first floor.
A very confusing concept when you're in an elevator. The foreground is new, the background is the original scroll work on the ceiling.
