You've decided I should not wear the half slip. Maybe my sister was right. It's not as if I'm going commando under the petticoat. I've heard that some girls wear pettipants--you know, those long-leg ruffled panties that are meant to be seen, at least once in a while. You wouldn't catch me dead in a pair of those, but you seem to know me already.

Now you have another choice to make. The dress is quite long, so I can wear knee-highs--you know, nylons that only go up to the knee. They're cool so long as you're wearing pants or a long dress. I've seen them with shorter dresses: they look really dumb, then. My other choice is to wear thigh-highs with garters, which look like pantyhose under everything except the shortest of dresses. The problem with them, though, is that unlike pantyhose or knee-highs, you can't wear them under tight jeans or even tight skirts.

So help me decide right now: knee-highs or thigh-highs.
